  1. I try to delete the capture files but win xp doesnt let me. Says some process has it open. I closed all my applications... This happens with virtualdub1.4.9 and 1.4.10 as well as ulead dvd factoy

Can somebody tell me how to delete (other than booting up in dos mode?)

Also virtualdub does not overwrite the capture file. If I capture to a file and want to overwrite with subsequent capture it doesnt let me... Some times I get errors opening the log file..

    Any help is appreciated.

  2. It's an XP bug with AVI files. You can find a solution at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/default.asp
