    Hi all,

    I have a movie in the "avi"-format.
    I'm not sure but can I play this movie in my standalone player or can I watch it only on my pc ?

    Is there any possibility to "convert" a movie with the "avi" format to a "svcd" format so I can watch it on my television ?

    You can not watch the .avi on your standalone. however you can watch it on tv if you have a tv-out on you grafics card. you can also convert it to (S)VCD. for guides for that either look to the left (the green area) or click the dots in my sign. you'll find help there.
