  1. Hi everyone,

I wanted to get a video from the "free with ads" part of Vudu. Yes, they have videos you have to pay for. This is not one of them. It is free in the US, and I can play it with a VPN.

    https://athome.fandango.com/content/browse/details/Dead-Before-They-Wake/3801388

WidevineProxy2 gave me the n_m3u8dl-re command line. When I entered the command line, it asked which resolution I wanted, as I'd expect. The best is 480p, which I guess is the best I'll get from an L3 from an emulator. I decided to try it anyway. I am sure I'll get better from somewhere else at some point.

This is the key I have.
    Code:
    0e613287004448579f1bae8f9834beaa:95a171f339c03932893ee3457f8b3171
Unfortunately I was met with a 403 forbidden error when n_m3u8dl-re started to download the media. Do I need to pass credentials? I couldn't see any way to do that via the command line and it looks like there's something in the URL.

I read on another post that you could specify credentials in a text file with the keys, but I don't see any information on the syntax, nor do I know it that's actually the problem.

Thanks for any help you can offer. Worst case, I'm sure it will become available elsewhere at some point.

  2. just add --append-url-params in widevineproxy2 command
    Code:

  3. Thanks very much

I'm not in a position to try at the moment, but I'm sure you're right. From browsing around and translating the Chinese on Github, I get the feeling that this is something to try if you hit errors like that, so I'll bear it in mind in future. Thanks again.
