    On getvcds.com there are 2 Mortal Kombat Conquest VCDS that contain Malay subtitles, they said that they can't be removed but is it possible that they could be removed, I have a Dansai 1010 which is quite easy to hack.

    VCDs don't support separate subtitles, so any writting on the screen is part of the video....can't be removed.

    subtitles are using hardcoded....meaning they ARE part of the video....

    however, if the subtitles are below the video, you might be able to crop out the subtitles w/ vdub (or something like that)..however, i've never done such a thing, so i'm sure someone else who has can elaborate
