    I wonder if I can use MKVmerge for assembling 4K files too, outputting a 4K file?

    Yes plenty of 4k files with Dolby vision and atmos etc, using MKVToolNix
    SONY 75" Full array 200Hz LED TV, Yamaha A1070 amp, Zidoo UHD3000, BeyonWiz PVR V2 (Enigma2 clone), Chromecast, Windows 11 Professional, QNAP NAS TS851

    I assemble the mkv files using MKVmerge gui, which is part of MKVToolnix.

    Should I do it differently?
