Hi,

Trying to update keys for NOWTV Uk live channels that change once a month.

Anyone know how to request a new updated key from cdrm-project.com?

For example:

AAAAOHBzc2gAAAAA7e+LqXnWSs6jyCfc1R0h7QAAABgSEAADid stbpMNJr7WNWqz4cdI49yVmwY=

Always refers to the old cached PSSH key from Dec 5 that no longer works.

I have tried checking/ un-checking cache, but makes no difference?

This site works, as it provides the right key for VOD demand from the same vendor.

Would have thought if the key requested is different it would ignore and update the cache key?

My question is not that cdrm-project.com can generate the key?

How do you generate a new key from a existing cached pssh that has had a key change?

Are you saying/implying that the that the key has changed but the pssh did not change?


My understanding that the (pssh) keyid : key is a pair. If the key changes then the kid should change hence the pssh should change.

It's not always the case for live key rotation.
The PSSH in the MPD may have an old KID.
The init (initial segment) also has the old KID.
So, we generate the newest KID from the new segments and create PSSH from it.
