Merry Christmas, everyone!
I have videos with subtitle tracks that I want to keep when converting to gifs, apngs, and image sequences. How do I make the output files show the subtitles?

Hi, I am working on a program that can do something similar, but only srt, ass and vtt subtitles. If this is your case and you can extract them from the file it might work for you.

You can download it from here

The program uses ffmpeg internally and can display the commands it uses, in case you are interested in using it directly.

You would need to hardcode the subtitles .

There are ways to do this - use the search terms "hardcode" and "subtitles" .

The rest of the steps are the same for gif, apng, image sequences that you would normally use
