    a cat. However

    I wonder is exist a program that allow to do some simple "movements" of zoom or pan on static images (jpg, bmp ecc..)

    I need to do smooth pans and zooms on hi-res still images, inserting for example the fuzzy borders on a image that is not 16:9 format

    I need export movie in .avi or .mov or direcshow codec, interlaced using HD resolution

    search for Ken Burns effect, there are Avisynth scripts for it, but I bet tons of NLEs support this too.
