Hi, I have a few old series downloaded from streaming platforms.
The quality, let's say, OK, but...
The resolution is not good, they cut part of the original video and made it 16:9, but it is not.
It is also not 4:3, so I have no editor to let me put a custom resolution.
The downloaded videos are 1920x1080, with black areas on both sides of the video.
Besides the video is a little bit extended.
So, I want:
1. Cut these black areas (actually I can do it with UniConverter).
2. Adjust the color gamma slightly (also can do it with UniConverter).
3. After I cut the black areas, the final video is a little bit extended - 1610x1080, but it must be 1545x1080.
I have MKV and MP4 video files.
What would you recommend me to use to not lose the video quality?
Thanks

PS: Avidemux makes crop better, with almost the same video quality as the original file, but it takes more time than a crop with UniConverter. Besides, UniConverter allows adding all 155 episodes in just 1 click, then setting the desired crop size (brightness, etc) and applying it to all files, and then going to sleep and getting all 155 episodes edited in the morning. But the video quality will be a little bit lower.
Later, with Avidemux to correct the width of the video, it takes 10 seconds per episode.
Making all with Avidemux is a much better final quality of the video, almost the same as was the original file, but it takes 30-45 min per episode.
