I have a GOVIDEO DVD player that is vcd compatible but I don't think it is SVCD compatible. I burn SVCD movies that I captured with a DV camcorder and I can get them to play on my DVD player SOMETIMES. Is there a rhyme or reason it is playing SVCD's most of the time but some of my videos wont play at all? Can I flip some setting in TMPGEnc, my DVD player or VCDEasy to make my movies play consistently in my player?

Are you using a different brand of disc for the ones that wont play. Some players are fussy about the type of disc they will play.
