  1. Windows 10.

I use the Codec Tweak Tool software so WMP can play all sorts of files, used to be able to keep the player sized one way, regardless of what files I would play, I could open and close the program, and it would always be the correct size I had set, but now, it keeps coming up real small when I play a file after reopening the program, it has stopped staying the size I had tried to leave it at, and the solutions in this link are not working, reporting here in case it's related to this program, i guess i should report to Windows too?...

Have you tried switching between the different views to see if it affects the issue?

Also, using the Ctrl key often works. Put the window where you want, hold the Ctrl key and close.
Then hold the Ctrl and open and it should put it back where it was.
After that it should honor the position set in the registry
