Hi.. I`ve managed to re-encode a VOB file to a lower bit rate for getting a whole dvd movie onto DVD-r.. the picture looks no different to the original which is great,, but the sound doesn`t work.. This is the 5.1 track, and it seems TMPGenc didn`t manage to do a direct stream copy of the audio track. I just used the templates that come with TMPGenc and change the bitrate to 2500.
Should I be using another piece of encoding software so it doesn`t destroy the sound??? or is there an option I should have ticked???
Any help would be great

yes, TMPG does NOT output 5.1 sound.
How would suggest looking at the guides to your left in the DVD RIP section.
