    I'm referring to this mxf:

    if possible, I need to see something like VU meters audio levels to check if the peak levels of audio CH1 and CH2 (that contain the mix of the audio CH3 and CH4) is -12Db.

    Or howevere to see the levels

    is there a way to have an audio levels VU meter - thanks

    Use avisynth under VLC? You can overlay 'ebur128' and eventually 'showvolume' on top of your video in ffmpeg.
