AVI to VCD Sound for like 8 seconds then nothing......

I am using TMPGENC to VCD a movie, the movie, with-out being VCD plays sound just fine throughout the whole movie, but once part 1 and part 2 are VCD, there is only sound for like the first 8 seconds on both parts, then nothing. Just picture. But like I said, the movie is fine, with sound, intill I VCD it. Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong? I have never had this problem before. Have tried everything, I know, might work. But hopefully there is something I am doing wrong! Please help! This is a great movie!
