I have a Mitsubishi HS-HD2000U and was copying a wedding video for a friend. This S-VHS video has a special audio track with a music overlay. I didn't know this existed until today (new). I don't have the remote to the Mitsubishi HS-HD2000U but I managed to get a universal remote to work so I could get to the main menu. I'm trying to change the audio to something like mix to pick up this track. I can't seem to figure out how to do this and the manual isn't much help. Watch it be a toggle switch somewhere after spending hours trying to figure this out in the menu. Maybe I'm not able to get to the correct menu with this knockoff remote???
I managed to get a JVC to pick it up but my JVC does not have TBC. Also, should I leave it on mix or change it back when I don't need it.

The manual is clear, You can either playback the HiFi track, Left HiFi, Right HiFi or the linear mono track, there is no mix function so you will have to use a VCR capable of this function, Otherwise do two separate captures one with HiFi audio and one with linear mono and mix in software.

dellsam34, I'm missing how to switch the audio. Maybe it's so obvious I don't see it? My guess is there is a button on the original remote because I don't see it in the menu.

I just read the manual like you did, look at the remote control functions in the manual.
