after converting avi to mpg and dubbing the sound in, the mpg plays fine on computer but when i play vcd on tv a bit of the edges on the bottom, sides and top are cut off and it makes it really hard to read subtitles!!

nm, i figured it out....if u have the same problem search for "overscan" or "fitcd" in the forums, u should find what ur looking for.....tvs generally have overscan meaning the picture is cut off along the edges when playin vcd......if u end up using the program "fitcd" to calculate the screen size u should convert the mpg to then this link i found helpful in how to use "fitcd" : http://galileo.spaceports.com/~truman/resize/resize.html
