    More specifically, I have a question about downloading MP4 files with youtube-dl-gui by Murrty. Most of the time, when I download something, the dialog box has a series of lines similar to this:
    [download] % of filesize at download speed ETA est. time

    That is easy to read, even with my vision. Other times I get something else, that scrolls past relatively fast, and seems to count up by fractions of a second. I can't really tell because it's too small and scrolls by quickly.

    Can anyone tell me what the difference is? Both end up as an MP4 file.

    Why it matters if ends up fine?
    Different manifests or whatever, requiring different downloading extractors or something, maybe.
