I find that it is possible to record the audio of any music from a DVD as it is playing by using the "What you hear" as the source for recording with the SB Live Card.
But is it possible to open VirtualDub simultaneously when the DVD Player is playing the DVD and capture a video sequence from the DVD? I am using the ATI AIW-128 card for video capture/display/play functions.
Is there going to be a contention/conflict between the two applications to grab the same device?
Is there any way to capture video froma DVD with only one video card on the computer?

Not that Im aware of.
There are a few programs available that allow you to capture screen movements / windows as avi's but you need something super in pc hardware to get a good fps. Ive forgotten what the programs are called now, thats how inferior they are.
