i burned a svcd with nero 5.5.5.2 and i put the scandata.dat in the EXT file, but the fast forward/rewind don't work on my yamaha 520 dvd player.
what can i do ?

Use TSCV or another VCDImager frontend to create a bin/cue image instead of direct from NERO.
Then, I think the latest NERO is fixed now so you can properly burn the "cue" file to a disc (I haven't tried it yet)....
There is the outside chance it could be the player, but if the picture is playing back at all, chances are it is the disc layout that makes FF/RW not happen. -
I burned with the latest Nero 5.5.8.0 but I still cannot
Fast Forward / Rewind on my APEX AD-1500.
I tried it on Power DVD and the disk works fine.
Someone please help! -
I found that 5580 busted the ff/rew on my DVD player, so I when back to 5578 and all is now OK.
Try 5578.
