I'm looking for a solution to capture screenshots from ST.2084/REC.2020 encoded 4K-UHD blu-ray discs.
I know Xbox will let you capture into the .JXR-format, but I don't have Xbox.
Also, I don't have any 3840x2160 HDR display connected to my PC, I'm on a 1080p 8-bit SDR NTSC 45% laptop.
I know madVR converts to SDR automatically, MPC-HC's EVR renderer will only capture 8-bit.
Is there any free software that's able to capture 10-bit, 3840x2160, ST.2084/REC.2020 screenshots?
FFMPEG?
The screenshots will be used for HDR Heatmap + WCG Analysis.
Thank you, first time poster!

I found a freeware, see below:
https://www.videohelp.com/software/LosslessCut
Captures with a 16-bit gamma integer if you select to save screenshots in .PNG-format.
Captures the complete 3840x2160 resolution, no need for a 3840x2160 monitor/display.
Works with both .MP4/.MKV.
Used FFMPEG to switch container from .MP4/.MKV - no issues.
Cheers!
