Hey, I downloaded a video from the net which is progressive in format but interlaced. The people who rendered it messed it up big time. Also, it only gets deinterlaced when I use both the TFF and BFF at the same time, I have no idea why that happens. I know about AviSynth and StaxRip but don't have much experience with them that's why I can't find a solution. What can I use to get the best possible results? I have attached a short clip from the video for anyone to try. I would really appreciate it if anyone can help. Thanks

Interlaced SD PAL video was upscaled incorrectly. The general procedure is to downscale to 576 lines, deinterlace, then (optionally) upscale back to the original frame size. The results won't be as good as if you had started with the original 576i video. I didn't make any attempt to fix the aspect ratio problem.
