I am running windows 10 pro. I have Mpeg2 files- VOB files on my harddrive. When I encode the Mpeg2 files to Xivd using staxrip I select a predifined bitrate. But the output file is not the same size as the predifined bitrate - it's alot bigger. I have tryed new and old versions of staxrip and have the same problem. I have tryed both video encoding Xvid using ffmpeg and xvid - enraw - raw mpeg4 bitstream encoder.
I did the same encoding about 5-6 years ago with windows 7 and never had a problem. But when I use windows 10 recently the output file is not the same as the predefined bitrate.
Has anyone got any ideas why?
Thanks
