  1. I use SmartRipper. After ripping, I notice the images that are in a moving mode have continuous horizontal breakup. Kinda like it was pieced offset on every other couple of lines. This only happens during action movement.

    What's the solution?

  3. Mikerios, you wrote = did you frameserve in dvd2avi, and if you did, did you have forcefilm checked ?

Where do I find the sections in the program you mentioned in the above?

  4. i'm assuming you have dvd2avi already...

load the vobs into dvd2avi, then preview it (f5) and tell me which the info box sex about video type (is it FILM, progressive or NTSC, interlaced?)

i'm guessing the particular dvd u just ripped is NTSC, interlaced

  5. i'm assuming you have dvd2avi already... NOPE

load the vobs into dvd2avi, then preview it (f5) and tell me which the info box sex about video type (is it FILM, progressive or NTSC, interlaced?) ....IT'S NTSC The INTERLACED you asked about...I don't see wording or a place with that available to change.

i'm guessing the particular dvd u just ripped is NTSC, interlaced

The SmartRipper looks like a clean rip, but then I take it to a program called DVDx to encode to MPEG2 (Super Video CD), NTSC 29.97fps (480x480).[/b]

  6. is there a setting for field order anywhere in the encoder?

you may need to reverse the field order
