  2. so what percentage should i use in normalise and should i use the Dynamic Range Compression ? If so roughly how far up should i position the slider ?

Can i alter my mpegs or do i have to encode them again ?

  3. When I rip an dvd, I use Vob2Audio for the audio part, this seem to normalise the audio as it extract it from the vobs, and it make a nice wav headered mp3 that I can use straight into virtualdub, without having to do anymore compression, all in about the same time it takes DVD2AVI to make a normal (Non normalised) wav file.

    Hope that helps
