I am trying to capture a video tape (it's of a friend's band) and convert it to vcd. I used virtual dub to capture to avi (using the huffyv codec), all went well. I watched the entire avi, everything is good. I loaded up tmpg with the ntsc vcd template and let it go at it. When my source position gets to 6 minutes or so, the progress bar jumps to 100%. When i view the mpeg file it outputs, the video and sound is fine up to the 6 or so minutes. After that, it is the same length as the avi, but there's just 15 mintues of black screen, no sound. I figured maybe it was tmpg so i tried it in cce 2.5. Same problem. At the same time i got an error about reading the source file. I decided I would rip the avi again. I did so (to a different drive), same problem at the same time. Any suggestions will be appreciated, thanks in advance!
