  1. If I want to recompress a video in two different sizes with two pass mode, the first pass is neccessary for both compressions? Or maybe with the first time is enought?

    Something like:
    - first pass > add to queue
    - second pass size A > add to queue
    - second pass size B > add to queue

Whoud B file have the same quality this way than adding its own first pass after A file second?

I'm pretty sure you don't need ty repeat the first pass. Try it and see

It's not necessary to run a first pass again.

In general, the first pass will simulate an encode with constant quantizer 2 as the maximal sensible quality; from there it will be downscaled to the target size in any case.

Just use the last pass without updating the stats file in every second pass.
