I hate this question and its always asked. Look at it this way. Can you put a VHS into your cd-rom drive? Different storage formats. Use the search from now on.

No that's the answer people get when they don't use the search function.

Hope springs eternal; no matter how often they hear otherwise, there are always those who want to believe that one case lose weight and shape up without eating fewer calories and/or exercising more - because it would be easier.

Some hope that cancer can be cured without surgery and/or chemotherapy - because it would be cheaper, easier and no one would cut you open.

Similarly, there are those who hope that a home bleach kit will make your teeth a "natural-looking" white, rather than undergoing bonding or capping - because it would be far, far cheaper.

    Snake oil. Medicine show.

TV infomercials feast on these kind of hopeful, and sometime very unfortunate, folks.

Ripping DVDs without a DVD drive; some people hope you can, because it would be cheaper. Common sense might tell most people that if your a CD-ROM drive could read a DVD, then no one would buy a DVD drive, but common sense is sometimes less than common.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

Its quite easy really, you have to read the DVD disk with your laser beam eyes, then speak binary into your computers microphone.... at least this works if you have up to date laser beam eyes, the old ones simply won't cut it.
