    Well you can still see the gameplay, but it's much darker than it should be. For example, the parts in the game that are supposed to be dark (like dark rooms or things that are in shadows) are now so dark that you really struggle to see whats happening.

  5. My first thought was that you had a problem with full range vs. limited range YUV in your recordings. But the sample you uploaded was limited range -- the norm for digital video.

    I don't know exactly what you're seeing on your monitor and TV. It could just be that the gamma on your TV is set to bring out dark detail. What happens if you play your MP4 file on the TV? Does it look normal or are the darks still too dark?

    Or maybe the capture device is crushing blacks -- you should be able to adjust that with the proc amp controls in the capture software. Darks in your sample did look darker than samples of Titanfall 2 I've seen at youtube.
