    Does any one know if the Region hack for the Philips DVP 2880 will work for the newer Philips DVP 2902?

    you could try the hack to see if it works - https://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks/philips-dvp2880/12119
    but remember that not all dvd players can be hacked.

    Yes, I realize that I could try it and see if it works, but I was hoping someone might have already done that before I purchased the player.
