Hi,
I'm just looking for the best easy to use software to make home movies. Have a 6 month old and have about 2 hours of footage so far that I'd like to burn to dvd for family members. I've tried some free software/trials but I have hit snags.
One problem is I have like 40 clips that are like 3 min long on average and when I go to burn it with sony dvd architect studio 5 (trial) it says there are too many chapters and cant figure out how to just make it 1 chapter or merge clips.
Second problem is I can't get the DVD to play, I did a test and just deleted chapters to the max number for a test burn. The dvd burned fine in my computer but when I put it into an xbox one, the dvd was not recognized.
I don't need anything fancy, just want something simple (willing to buy). The video was taken with a cannon vixia HFR70 in avchd.
Thanks!
Andrew

DVDStyler
Use a template.
Consider simplifying the project by "DVD -> Add -> File as chapter" to highlights some videos that could be used as chapters in the current title.
Maybe customize by replacing menu background with own images/video.
Create a DVD folder structure to test menus/navigation
Burn with ImgBurn or similar.
