I'm trying to remove blocks (mostly in the background of the image) --- see the picture attached
I'm using tmpgenc Mastering 6 and tried different filters without any success ?
What it would take the get the same texture as with around this zone and correct the video.
Help would me more than welcome![]()

I don't know that you will clean it up much. That's typically the result of compression (ie: removing data to make smaller files), most obviously noticeable in dark scenes and is referred to as macroblocking.

Possibly by denoising/deblocking then dithering. Probably too much to ask for tmpgenc; maybe with avisynth or vapoursynth or virtualdub filters.
If you post an unprocessed video sample someone will probably provide suggestions
