I get the "AMC Peripheral Not Found" error when I try to open ATI Multimedia Center. (ie when I click on the TV button).
I found something on ATI site mentioning that this is being looked into. It said it is an issue with the Intel 810 chipset which I have.
Another page suggested that this is sometimes due to the bios not allowing enough memory to be allocated to video and it had a fix but it did not work. (the fix was a file that I put in system and then made an entry in config.sys that loaded it).
I contacted ATI support and they were great. I got thru to then quickly and they had a fix for me. They gave me a simple program to run which solved the whole thing. This last paragraph is of course a complete fantasy. Unfortunately the problem is real. Any help appreciated.
