Does anyone know how to determine what the stream sizes of a MKV are. Making with the VidCoder 2.51 seems like they eliminate that tag??

You mean the stream sizes MediaInfo shows? I'm not sure VidCoder ever created the statistic tags. MediaInfo uses some smart estimation depending on the track details. For example it may use debugging info written by x264 about bitrate as well as look for CBR audio tracks and derive the sizes from those infos. For some combinations (e.g. CRF video encoding, VBR audio, no statistic tags) it won't show stream sizes. So maybe there are differences between how you used to create files and how you do it now.
