Hi all,
I recently started capturing some video using an Elgato HD60Pro using a Canon video camera in 1080p.
I notice that there are red/green
[Attachment 49203 - Click to enlarge] dots/noise only in dark portions of the video.
Can someone please shed some light on what is causing this issue?
Thanks in advance!

If you want a response post a sample from the actual capture
10 - 15 seconds should do -
Could be many things. A bad HDMI cable, defective card, bad compression, bad decompression, bad recompression. The small image offers few hints. And your description is inaccurate -- the green/red blocks don't appear only in dark parts of the image. A video sample (directly as captured, not cut from a larger capture, not reencoded) would be more elucidating.
