Hi guys.
I'm having some audio problems using iuVCR. Here are my system specs:
ATI TV-Wonder (PCI)
Pentium 3 at 1Ghz
512MB PC-700 RDRAM
IBM 60GB 60GXP ATA100 7200RPM HD
Windows 2000 Professional with Service Pack 2
VisionTek Geforce3 ti 500 with NVIDIA detonator drivers
ATI WDM drivers
iuVCR 3.11.0.176
I was able to capture 30 minutes at 352x480xYUY2 using PicVid's MJPEG codec set at 20. I didn't drop even one frame :-). My problem is the audio slowly loses sync as the cap progresses. It starts out perfect but by the 29th minute the audio is a fraction of a second behind. Since it isnt consistent, I cannot re-sync with Virtual Dub or TMPEG. Any help or ideas would be great. Thanks
Laxer

This is a common problem with iuVCR. I am playing with ATV2000 right now to see if its better, but unfortunately, there is no holy Grail for WDM capture applications. Darn Win2K.......
There is also some good work being done on the beta of Showshifter. It's a TIVO like TV viewing/recording app, but may turn out to be the best capture program too.
