  1. hi,
when i watch yt videos in 1080x60 and above, videos lag!
when i watch 4000k, videos do not even play.
Why? Is my Laptop not ok for this resolution?

  3. You're laptop has 4K display? You have sufficient bandwidth to watch the videos in realtime? You have sufficient CPU/GPU power to decode the videos in realtime?

that is the info on your cpu
    max res is 3200x2000@60fps
    no 4k
    as for the 1080p60
your bandwidth is getting throttled or your system is having problems decoding the video

DSL, 16 Mb/s? Doubtful. Try http://speedtest.net to see what you're really getting. And just because you're getting 16 Mb/s from some server near you doesn't mean you'll get 16 Mb/s from Youtube's servers. Your ISP could even be downgrading speeds from Youtube to cut down on congestion.

Also, download some of the videos from Youtube and see if you can even play them smoothly locally.

  10. If you want to play 4K videos, you not only need fast download speed and a fast laptop, but you also need to be streaming from a site that can serve 4K video without interruption.

One other thing, and this may be the most important of all: you need to use the right software video player. There is a HUGE difference in performance between various software video players when attempting to watch 4K videos, either streaming or those stored on the hard drive (or SSD).
