I am a novice at video. Using win 7 Home Prem.
This is what I want to do.
Take 15 YouTube videos. Edit out parts of some of them
and place some text in front of each one.
Burn to DVD for playing on TV.
I would like to have a menu on the beginning that will
have a selection to either play the videos in sequence
or to select a specific video from a list.
What software do I need to do this?
Thanks!

1. Use a streaming/Youtube video downloader https://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/video-streaming-recording
2. Find an editor with mp4/flv support....I don't know any good. Or convert to an avi with mp4camtoavi and it might be editable in more editors and windows live movie maker.
3. Use a dvd authoring application like the free dvd styler or dvd flick(basic menu).
Maybe you can use an all-in-one solution like tmpgenc video mastering works for step 2 and 3. Free trial to test. -
Keep in mind that 75% of YouTube videos are low-quality FLV crap and will look even worse after you start playing around with them(editing them).
