Alright, now theres been aheap of talk with fitting movies onto 1 CD etc, but its always been regarding TMPG Enc.. now my question is anyone got some guides to fit movies onto a single cd with CCE.
CCE is just so much faster for my machine, so was curious.

It all boils down to lowering the bitrate and/or adjusting quality settings. You can do that with any encoder.

CCE maybe best for a "ONE CD" application due to its multipass system. I suggest like 4 or 5 passes with CCE and just use a bitrate calc to figure out the bitrate.
Its not that big of a deal to change CDs during a movie. Look at LaserDisc for instance. Just use 2 cds .. the quality is worth the size and time.Mike of DHI Music Group

way i look at it, fitting movies on one cd is fun for exploration, but if i'm going to take the time to encode it, i might as well go for the 2-3 cd approach.
but of course, there might be cases where 1 cd would be preferable.
if that's the case, i'd go with Kwag's template. works like a charm~Cheers~
