    Hello,
I have 3 m2v video files and a PCM WAV audio file I wanted to mux together for a DVD+R DL but it's about 4 minutes too long to fit, could someone please recommend a free and easy to use program that would allow me to LOSSLESSLY combine / mux the m2v's and WAV file into Blu-ray?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks, I had already considered trying that, but came across this thread 4 posts down a person saying it definitely caused quality loss,
    here:

But I think they are talking about a different process, not sure....

^ Tsmuxer is a multiplexer, it's not an encoder, nor a transcoder.

Besides, that thread is several years old already, and Tsmuxer has been improved a lot since then.

But just be careful, and be sure your source files are Blu-Ray~compliant, since your goal is playback on a standalone BD player.
TSmuxer's primary function is create Transport Streams... Blu-Ray file structure and directories are just a very-welcome bonus

How do I know if the source files are blu Ray compliant?
The video is m2v's I demuxed from a DVD, and the audio is PCM WAV I edited from a CD.

Ugh, I loaded in the m2v's and audio WAV, tsmuxer was finished in just over 2 minutes, I then followed imgburn's info on how to burn the Blu-Ray folder using ImgBurn, everything seems fine until I hit the burn Botton and it keeps giving some kind of error, don't know what it means the problem is...

Cd = 44.1khz sample rate. Dvd & bd sample rates are always supposed to be multiples of 48khz. Have you done your sample rate conversion?

Actually I never really burn Blu-Ray, most things I play off USB etc.
The discs I have are Verbatim BD-R LTH Type 25GB, though I just noticed the BD-R Verbatim seem to be the more standard type?
Is either better than the other?

Most of us don't recommend the LTH type Blu-ray disc. But without knowing what type of error ImgBurn is showing you, we won't be able to help much more.

    Hi,

Not sure if there's a technical problem or if I'm just doing something wrong as this is my first shot at making/burning Blu Ray, although I think I've done it all correctly...
I use TsMuxeR to output 3 m2v video files + 1 PCM WAV audio file as Blu ray folder.
The folder with original files is 8.04GB, when output through TsMuxeR as Blu ray folder the output file is 8.67GB (is it normal for it to be that much bigger when I'm wanting to be doing this losslessly?).

Then in write mode I drag/drop the BDMV and CERTIFICATE folders into ImgBurn, when I hit burn I then get the following error, I have attached a photo of the error in this post.
Does anybody know what the error is?
*maybe worth noting, my PC often errors when burning dual layer DVD's, but the same files burn perfectly on my laptop, maybe this Blu ray error is also specific to my PC?, unfortunetly though my laptop doesn't have Blu-ray so I can't check if it will work on that, but then again maybe this error doesn't have anything at all to do with my PC/burner...

It's the overhead for the container. It's relatively high for transport stream.

    Hi,
I don't know what any of that means?
Is there something wrong with the process of putting my original files through TsMuxeR and outputting as Blu Ray?
Are you also saying this is the reason for the burn error?
    Thanks

  13. Besides the space needed for the video/audio stream addional space is needed for the container (overhead).

Transport streams (.ts/m2ts) use relaive high overhead.

    PROBLEM SOLVED.
The Blu-Ray in old PC and laptop can read Blu Ray but not write Blu Ray....
I think my stand alone / home theatre Blu Ray will be able to burn it off a USB though...
