  1. I got two svcd movies and they both have a sample, so I try to open up the sample and it wont open in tmpgenc and it states: *cannot open or unsupported*, i tried the other sample that came with the movie and it said the same thing! I was wondering what did I do wrong and why wont it open? also, could it be also the fact that when they make the sample mpeg file may not be mpeg2 file as the movie? please reply thnx

  2. I just had the same problem....be sure that you have teh MPEG2 Codec loaded (Check this site to the left under tools) and you may have to load the VBrun file, after I loaded both these I had no problems with loading MPEG2 (SVCD) into TMPGEnc. Just check under the tools section to the left, you can also find these on Stinky's site, click on the MMC Reg Tools to the left under the tools section.

I installed WinDVD to solve that problem. Works good.
