  1. Please help...I have bin and que files from a dvd rip...can you tell me how and if I can write it to SVCD using Nero. If nero cannot be used please tell me what I need to use.

    You have to burn it with Goldenhawk CDRWIN !!! get the program at www.goldenhawk.com !!!

  3. does not say it supports XP? I have been told Nero will do it also to blind write..whatever that is.

  4. Use nero. Click on [FILE]--> Burn Image. It asks you to select a file, just select the .cue file and hit burn. Make sure the .bin file is in the same directory.

  5. NOOOOO!
    Don't do that with SVCD in Nero, your end up with something
    that plays ok for awhile , then later goes nuts.
    Mount the .cue and .bin file into Daemon Tools, then use Nero to start
    SVCD template, drag the .MPG file across from the new virtual
    drive, THEN burn it!
    Works spot on this way!!!!

  6. If you're going to mount the image in Daemon Tools you can just use the copy cd function of any cd mastering program. Nero, Blindwrite, Clone Cd, Cdrwin, etc. Personally though, Nero 5.5.7.2 burns the cue/bin fine for me and they play fine on my equipment.

    cd's are read only so i dont understand how a svcd you burns worked for awhile then stopped working and it is the softwares fault... i would blame the media instead.
