Is there any way to get rid of the text in the middle of the window?

I have the video downloaded on my machine.

    Thank you.

  3. Yes, there are lots of "logo removal" filters. But with video the result is usually more distracting than the overlay.

You will never remove that completely since there is no information to recover behind the black border.

As jagabo states different filters will give different results and none will be really satisfactory.
