    To date, I have tried a lot of different video converters, but none of them can satisfy all the needs that I have. These are as follows :

    - Maximize usage of CPU Cores / CUDA / RAM
    i'm on a i7 OCed, with 16gbs ram and a gtx 660ti. for instance, AVC only uses 30+% CPU and very little ram when batch encoding videos, even when set to max priority. I want my cpu to be fully utilized during conversion - 100%.
    simultaneous conversion of multiple videos AND multi-threaded conversion of SINGLE videos would be perfect!

    - Hassle free drag-and-drop batch encoding

    something like AVC is good. handbrake is good at encoding, but terrible for its batch interface.

    - able to support many formats
    most of the time, i'm recoding stuff to save space - for instance .vob to h264.

    - able to stick to the same aspect ratio and resolution as source (i.e. not upscaling or downscaling) without manual intervention
    SUPER does this, but not AVC. i have to manually type in the source resolution to get it to convert similar to source.
    same goes for directories - i don't want to waste time setting the output directory - i just want it to stick to the source directory.

    am i asking too much for the above features? i don't mind paying for one, but i have not seen one that has all the above features that i need!

    Might try IMTOO video converter. http://www.imtoo.com/video-converter.html Converts most formats, uses ATi/CUDA, can set each file in batch to separate formats of the same, drag and drop, etc. Check it out. I have version 6 but version 7 is the current and I have not tested that one.

    Its not free and all tnhose features would be hard to find in a free version I think.

  3. MediaCoder - except from using source directory as output directory.

    You can do them all with TEncoder (maybe not CUDA stuff).

    If the app you use supports AVISynth scripts just insert:
    Code:
    leftcrop3D=crop(0,0,-Width/2,0)
    2D=LanczosResize(leftcrop3D, (Width*2),Height)
