    I'd like to try to use BDRebuilder to burn in forced subtitles. Is this possible? If so can someone detail the steps?

    Thx

    I found this in the bdrebuilder changelog:
    - Added routine to hard-encode forced subtitles into non-DVD ALTERNATE output. It can also include any subtitle that is selected to be forced from the STREAMS list. Note: This capability requires the installation of the free external AVISYNTH filter SUPTITLE() and its selection in the SETUP dialog. While the SUPTITLE filter is free, it cannot be freely distributed, so you must download it and properly install it from this link: http://www.zachsaw.com/?pg=suptitle_pgs_avisynth_plugin

    Thanks!!! It seems that I can put this avisynth plugin in my avisynth plugins folder and then choose the alternate option in bdrebuilder. Will try...hopefully it is that easy!

  4. I'll be interested in learning how that process goes for you.

    Anyway, my method has been:

    1) Demux the English subtitle tracks with tsMuxer. Forced subs are usually in the first track.
    2) Open the first sub track in BDSup2Sub.
    3) Have BDSup2Sub export only forced subtitles.
    4) Open your decrypted BD folder with RipBot.
    5) Select Properties->Build subtitles into picture (I think that's how it's phrased).
    6) Select your forced subs. Preview the hardcoded subs.
    7) Set your encoding parameters and start the job.

    Good luck.
    Pull! Bang! Darn!

    I demux everything with ClownBD first....but your method seems viable as well...interesting.

    @ron spencer
    I use the SupTitle() filter often with BD_RB
    It works well

    How do I use it? I setup a quick encode and told BD-RB to use it...It asked me for the path to the SupTitle dll and I browsed to where I put it (avisynth plugins folder). I then ran the encode and it did not burn the subtitles in. Am I missing something? Must be LOL.

    Look at the screenshot
    It only works for forced subtitles, as far as I know
    Only functions for alternate output

    That's a pity it only works for alternative output. I was hoping to make a bd-25 with forced subs burned in...hmmm.

    If you are doing Movie Only then
    Do an Alternate Output of the appropriate size
    The Import the video file and BD_RB will put it back into a BD structure
