My "firefox" doesn't. Are you sure you press the right "download" button in Solidfiles?

    Press the "direct download lik".....

  4. No warning from Firefox here either, although the direct download link opens a new tab containing ads (when I disabled UBlock Origin).

When I downloaded the AVS script I got an executable (.exe)

    Virustotal scan of it

You are deceiving yourself if you think using a 10bit codec setting is going to somehow magically improve a title whose original copy is 8bit 4:2:0. Barring additional NR/creative processing (which generates high precision intermediates), those extra 2 bits would be wasted (possibly not compressionwise, but certainly compatibility-wise).

There's a second, less obvious text link for downloading the original file (avs script in this case). I don't know whether it's by design, but for me it doesn't work the first time I click on it, but it does the second time. Mind you there must be better sites for hosting files that don't try to inflict crap on you.

The only reason for encoding in 10bit is to avoid as much banding as possible...
Thanks for the compatibility-wise advice, but I watch everything in my laptop.....

Any advice about the video? Tell me if you like about 8bit solutions.......

    Edit: links updated
