  1. Hi, I'm using Handbrake to get a portion of a video and to hard code the subtitles.
It all works fine, but Handbrake doesn't encode the parts which have no motion (black screens) they get removed in the output file.

At the end of the selected portion of the video there is a blackscreen, I want that also to be included in my output file.

Can someone tell me how I would turn off Handbrake's motion detection?

  3. Tried it, and it does exactly the same thing as Handbrake.

Hi all, I have a question:

When using HandBrake to encode x264, I experienced the slowest loading (halting) to open other applications during the encoding process run.. why? (whereas I have enough RAM memory of 4GB). But on the contrary if I use Hybrid encoder which other applications run smoothly without halting.

My curiosity was interested to know why.. Can someone explain this? Thanks in advance.

  5. Assuming you're using x264, set its priority to Low. Tools -> Options -> Advanced...
