I am ripping a PAL DVD that Handbrake says the source is 720x576

If I choose Strict Anamorphic it says
Output: 700x436 and Anamorphic: 746x436 Strict

I should want the Output and Anamorphic to be 576 though shouldnt I ?

Its for playback on my 1080p LCD TV

    cheers

Turn off anamorphic and set the output size to what you want. I never use anamorphic when I rip. Tip: Preview the results (before you "Start") to verify that you haven't set an improper proportion; sometimes Handbrake needs some corrective adjustment.
