  1. I have a new Mobile DVR unit (for a delivery van) which is supposed to transmit video (from cameras) via a 3G network to a server which then can be accessed via client software.

The unit captures video perfectly from the cameras - i have checked the video stored on the unit's SD card and its alright. But the video lags very badly when viewed on the client software even on the lowest settings (bitrate/frame rate). I even put in a static ip sim and this caused no improvement.

    Please help !

And what is the lowest bitrate settings?

I use around 500kbit/s when I stream stuff with low bandwith connections.

whats wrong.. 3G upload from your van to the stream server

you are apparently trying to run a live stream, instead of uploading captured video

are you try to stream ALL cameras to the server ?
3g is not going to have enough bandwidth

if the video is captured and already on the server, then the problem is with the server side

if trying to stream live, the problem is the 3g bandwidth and speed
