I know ZERO about Minecraft or partitions.
My son's c: partition is LOADED....I'm guessing with Minecraft crap. I understand that the actual Minecraft exe file is tiny, it's the rest of the crap that is huge and getting out of hand?
How do I move ALL of this crap to the practically unused portion of his HDD?
This is Windows 8.1.....something else that I'm not that familiar with.

Moved files now use symbolic links for minecraft
One of a few practical uses for symbolic links
Or mirror the data to a larger hard drive.

First you might check what really takes all space on your son's comp C: drive. You can use neat portable program Space Sniffer to do it: http://www.uderzo.it/main_products/space_sniffer/index.html . Right-click it and run it as administrator.
