I have backed up some files using VOB Instant CD. When I read the DVD, it takes ages for the icon for each file to load, then it reads really slowly, especially video files (mpgs etc). I've enabled DMA etc. Someone said that you have to make sure you close the disc, but I'm sure I did that anyway. I've tried Nero - still the same. I am thinking it may be the DVD-R that I am using - it happens on Princo DVD and Datasafe DVD. The one I recorded on a Pioneer Disc seems fine (although obviously more expensive!) Any suggestions? Thanks.
